This summer I set out to build my vision for what I believe the future of AI-powered shopping could look like.
Today, I'm incredibly proud to share eBay AI Mode.
A shopping experience I envisioned, directed, designed, and focused an extraordinary amount of energy into bringing to life.
What you won't see when you open the product are the countless hours behind it. The normal trials and tribulations of refining a new experience.
My vision was to create a more intuitive, intelligent, white-glove shopping experience that remains fundamentally focused on the human. One that could redefine how buyers and sellers connect, discover, and transact on eBay.
I didn't just want to design another interface.
I wanted to define the principles that would shape how people experience AI-powered commerce.
How technology should behave. How it should earn trust. How it should empower people rather than overwhelm them.
Those principles became the foundation for the experience, informing the interactions, product direction, and design decisions along the way.
And while I may no longer be at eBay, there's something deeply meaningful about being able to say:
I had a vision.
I defined the principles.
I set the direction.
I designed the experience.
I drove the execution.
And ultimately, I delivered what I set out to create and even more!

This project represents more than six months of work. It represents resilience, dedication, creative OWNERSHIP, and the belief that even when circumstances change, you can still deliver on the promises you made to your team and the promises you make to yourself.

SO, WHAT'S NEXT FOR ME?
Well, if there's one thing I've learned about myself, it's that I'm never short on vision. My next chapter is about building something equally meaningful, both personally and professionally.
On the personal side? I’m focused on getting to my next life milestones, house, marriage, children, and being the founder of my very own family. Arguably my most ambitious venture yet. While keeping up with running more marathons, traveling, painting and enjoying all the opportunities of a whole life.
And one I fully intend to scale with a great partner, a lot of love, a shared vision, and some very strong foundational principles. ❤️ After all, what's the point of building extraordinary experiences if you don't also make time to build an extraordinary life?
On the professional side?
I'm excited to take on my next role as a Product Design Leader, where I can continue defining product visions, shaping meaningful experiences, and building the teams and design cultures that bring them to life.
